Tony Vo- Junior

Boys Lacrosse attacker, Tony Vo has been interviewed about the upcoming lacrosse season for the Boys Varsity team. Tony Vo is a junior with the position of attacker. We asked him 5 questions about this season.

1. What are you looking forward to most this season?

  • “I’m looking forward to scoring some goals because I only had one season of lacrosse, that was in my freshman year, and we only had one game that season because of COVID. So I am looking forward to having many more games.”

2. How do you think your going to play this season?

  • “A lot of people are expecting me to do good and I just hope that I make myself proud.”

3. What was your favorite memory of lacrosse?

  • “My favorite memory is my first game. I went against 3 defenders and got passed all of them. I did a move that is called the reverse swim then my teammates started calling me swimmer so I think that was fun.”

4. What are you looking forward to for next year?

  • “There are a lot of freshman on our team so I hope they get a lot of experience and the seniors that are about to leave I hope they have a good season.”

5. What advice would you give student-athletes wanting to make a roster for next year in your sport?

  • “If you want to join lacrosse next year I recommend getting a stick first then practice wall ball on your own. If you have a friend or partner you can just pass and catch with them to get as much as practice as you can.”
