1. How was the season for the team?
” The season for the team was great. There was a lot of encouragement and team work, but mostly good sportsmanship. I personally saw so any try their best during the season. I am proud of my teammates for doing so.”
2. What was your favorite memory of the season?
“My favorite memory this season would have to be the water games we did where there was two teams and we went through a few competitions involving water and the winning team was allowed to poor water on Dr. Anderson.”
3. How did you play this season?
“I personally improved on my speed and over all running distance but I could have tried harder this season, but I am proud of what I was able to do this season which I could have never done in the past.”
4. What are you looking forward to next year?
“Next year I am looking forward to really trying my hardest in cross country, such as going to a actual meet and pushing myself more but also seeing everyone else improve as well.”
5. What advice would you give student-athletes wanting to make next years roster for your sport?
“I would tell them to not overthink running how I did. It’s a fun sport and many don’t like running but it can get addicting and fun. Not only do you get healthier but you also get to run and compete with your teammates and other runners. Overall it’s a great sport that involves encouragement and support so don’t be afraid, we all go at our own pace.”
