Jenisha Semexant, a freshman on the Girls Volleyball team, has been interviewed about the volleyball season. We asked her 5 questions about the Volleyball season.

1. How was the season for the team?

• “It was fun, we grew a lot since most of us were just learning how to play. Its nice to look back and see how we got better compared to our first games.”

2. How did you play this season?

• “I think I played pretty good. I think I mostly carried with my serves. My spiking was okay but my serves were really good.”

3. What was your favorite memory of the season?

• “My favorite memory was our last game. The first time we played the team we almost beat them. Then our last game overshadowed our first one because we only lost by a point so it really showed us how much we improved.”

4. What are you looking forward to for next year?

• “I am looking forward to winning a game as a team since a lot of people know how to play this time next year will be better.”

5. What advice would you give student-athletes wanting to make a roster for next year in your sport?

• “My advice is to have fun. If you have fun, like the sport, and play the sport then you will make it.”
