On June 17, 2026, the Preuss Varsity Volleyball team faced San Ysidro in a tough match. The Tritons fought hard throughout the game but ultimately fell 0–3.

Even though the result was not what the team hoped for, there were several strong moments on the court. Delina Benyam had amazing hits that challenged San Ysidro’s defense. Rebeca Beltran also made an impact with strong sets that helped set up the team’s hitters and create opportunities to score.

Betiana Mercier and Maya Servin showed great chemistry on the court, supporting each other and working together to keep the team going. Allison Solis also had consistent aces that helped the Tritons put pressure on San Ysidro.

Throughout the match, Coach Wirszyla continued motivating the team and encouraging them to keep trying, even when the game became difficult. After the match, she gave the team an inspiring speech recognizing how hard they had fought and reminding them of the effort they gave throughout the game.

Although the Tritons finished the match with a 0–3 loss, they never stopped fighting. The team showed determination, teamwork, and support for one another, proving that every tough game is another opportunity to grow stronger together.
